Life is full of ups and downs, easy and difficult times. When those difficult times become very difficult times, one needs support, some assistance and some professional guidance to find effective ways of dealing the situation and grow positively. Psychological counseling or psychotherapy can help you bring changes you want to make.

What is Counseling?
Psychological counseling aims to help the person deal with issues which affect his/her emotional and mental well being. Counseling may not make the problem go away but helps one to cope up with the problems. It is about helping the client learn the skills and strategies that one needs to achieve the desired outcome.
What Counselors do?
Counselors may listen and reflect upon as you speak out loud about the problems. They help you put your thoughts in order and give objective feedback. Therapists help you clarify your feelings and needs in order to regain emotional strength. They may not directly tell what to do or not to, but go through a list of possible options with their pros and cons and help you make an informed decision.
Online Counseling: 
Online counseling is intended to help you using the technology. If you are unable to come in person due to distance, disability or other limitations you may communicate regarding your problem through email, chat or phone.
In-person counseling or Psychotherapy: 
The basis of psychotherapy is the alliance between the therapist and the client. A psychotherapist may deploy a variety of techniques depending upon the nature of the problem, client's personality, background, experience and therapist's own theoretical orientation.
